Please read more and learn how this Las Vegas scholar athlete strives for excellence.

Brandon Andrews and I was born in the city of Los Angeles, California. I later moved to San Jose, California where I started my football career at the age of 6. My first taste of football was when I played flag football for a YMCA team. I also played t-ball and basketball for the YMCA but didn't have the same passion for those sports that I had for football. My family and I knew from that point on that football was going to be my sport of choice. A year later at the age of seven, I moved from San Jose, CA to Las Vegas, NV and started playing full contact football for the Nevada Youth Football League. I can honestly say my first few seasons in the league weren't that great. I played on the offensive and defensive line and tried to grasp the basic fundamentals of the sport. As I got older I started to mature into a better athlete. I moved from the lineman position to linebacker and from that point on I started to show my true talent. I became an all-star on the field recieving defensive MVP for 3 consecutive years as well as an invitation to every Pro Bowl. I played for the NYFL for 10 seasons and made a name for myself in the Las Vegas valley. When it was time for high school, my original plan was to go to Foothill High School to play for my long time NYFL coach. My plans later changed and a family decision was made for me to attend Silverado High School. During my freshman year, I started at outside linebacker. Overall I had an awesome season and recieved the defensive MVP award for the Silverado freshman football team. I knew that staying conditioned during off season was very important and instrumental in my overall improvement in the sport. I made a decision to run track and lift weights to help increase my strength and speed. During my sophmore year on the Silverado JV team I started at runningback and linebacker. I had a breakout season and was awarded the Silverado JV Football Team Defensive Most Valuable Player. I am looking forward to an excellent season on the varsity level. You are welcome to follow me on as I continue to strive for excellence!
